St. Anthony Men`s Club

"The purpose of the Club shall be spiritual, social, and to promote good will and friendship among the members and Parish; to foster and assist student, Parish and deserving community activities." - from the Men`s Club constitution.

We meet the second Monday of every month at 8:00 p.m.  Any male member of a registered family of St. Anthony Parish, 18 or over, is eligible to be a member.  Come and join us!  Meetings last about an hour; several of the men stay longer to play cards and socialize for awhile.

The Men`s Club is a social organization, whose primary work at St. Anthony is to raise funds for the children of the parish.  Our big fund-raising event every year is our raffle in October, with a $10,000 first prize, and dinner and dancing.  Our big social events are our picnic in July and Holiday Dance in January.  We also host a Breakfast with Santa early every December, when Mr. Claus takes time out from his hectic December schedule to meet with over a hundred of the children of our parish and the Men`s Club serves breakfast for the children and their families.

We provide 100% of the funding for our school children`s athletic program.  We also provide some support to the Scouts, and other Parish organizations.  We take a big part in the Strawberry Festival and other Parish functions.  We also contribute to several community groups like Little League baseball and the Belleville Arts Council.
